Kathleen Dore is the founder and creative director of Best Bud. California-born and raised, her work is rooted in feeling. Built around the belief that design, like a scent or a song, can pull you straight into a moment. With a background in fine art and floral design, her approach is instinctive, textural, and unapologetically personal. She’s drawn to the bizarre and the beautiful in equal measure.

Her experience spans high-production installations and intimate gatherings alike, with notable clients ranging from La Mer and Credit Karma to Summer Fridays, Lulu & Georgia, and Noble. When she’s not designing events, Kathleen can be found at Best Bud, her San Diego flower shop and daily playground for creativity and connection.
